Franchising and Partnership Opportunities |
At The Kitchen Space, we are passionate about our mission of helping food-related businesses grow without the need to invest large amounts of capital. So we are currently looking to expand and bring the concept of renting commercial kitchens by the hour to cities around the country. You can help us do this by working together with The Kitchen Space to build and operate a new facility as partners. Or, you can choose to establish a franchise where you build and manage the facility, but can draw upon the extensive experience of The Kitchen Space management team in exchange for a franchise fee.
Below are some highlights of the programs.
Partnership
You and The Kitchen Space work as partners to develop, build and operate a new commercial kitchen which can be rented by the hour. The partnership would be structured to reflect the financial and non-financial contributions of each partner. (Unless there were special circumstances, the partnership would be structured so that you and The Kitchen Space would each own 50% of the business). As a partner, you will have continual access to the The Kitchen Space management team during the business plan development phase, the build out phase and during operation of the commercial kitchen. In addition, you would also have access to all of our relationships with suppliers, vendors and media outlets. The typical investment required is $100,000 - $200,000 (excluding cost of the building).
Franchise
As a franchisee, you have the ultimate control to maximize profitability of your commercial kitchen rental business. In exchange for an initial franchise fee and an annual franchise fee, you will receive all the benefits of being part of The Kitchen Space network. These benefits include maintenance and upgrades to the website, marketing campaigns developed at the corporate level, discounted prices on commonly purchased items such as cleaning supplies, and advice and support from The Kitchen Space management team. The typical initial investment required would be $350,000 (excluding cost of the building).
